Heroin allegedly sold with Happy Meals

Heroine Stashed In Happy Meals

A McDonald's employee has been charged with dealing Heroin to customers by stashing it in their Happy Meals.
"I'd like to buy a toy."
According to reports, this was the phrase uttered by customers hoping to score a side-order of heroin when ordering a Happy Meal from a branch of McDonalds in Pittsburgh, USA.
According to a statement from the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, police have taken 26-year-old Shantia Dennis into custody in connection with the allegations, after staging an undercover sting at the fast-food restaurant. In the course of the bust, the authorities confiscated a 50-unit bag of heroin in addition to the 10 units purchased by the plainclothes officers involved in the controlled buy, said DA spokesman Mike Manko.
Upon uttering the code phrase, Drive-thru customers were instructed to pull up alongside the first of two drive-thru windows and collect their "order," said Manko.
Police are unsure as to how long drugs have been sold out of the Pittsburgh McDonalds, but Manko was adamant that there was currently no reason to believe that the owner of the franchise was aware of the illicit trade taking place on his premises.
